We are a local business that provides quality water sports equipment to the Alum Creek area. Our aim is to provide kayak and paddle board rentals to those interested in exploring all the beauty central Ohios waterways have to offer!
Meet The Owners
Owner/Operator
Hi, we’re Steve and Jac!
By day—and often by night—you will find us serving our community, whether that means fighting fires or delivering babies during our nontraditional shift hours. Outside of work, however, nothing matters more to us than unplugging, heading outdoors, and spending quality time on the water with our kids.
Steve is a Florida native and a lifelong adventurer whose deep connection to the water is also reflected in his career as a Swift Water Rescue Technician. Jac, originally from California, was initially hesitant about the outdoor lifestyle after relocating to Ohio. That all changed once our children arrived, when she discovered firsthand how rejuvenating nature can be and how special days on the water truly are.
What started with paddle boards and kayaks eventually grew into a family boat, turning outdoor exploration into our everyday way of life. Today, we make it a priority to trade screen time for fresh air, scenic waterways and unforgettable memories.
We look forward to sharing our passion with you and helping make your next adventure unforgettable!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide safety equipment?
Absolutely! We provide all necessary equipment including paddles, PFD’s, and a dry bag for your phone and keys.
How does it work?
We do not have a physical location at Alum. Instead we provide delivery and pick up of the kayak/SUP directly to you at no additional cost! When you make a reservation over the phone we will send a google maps pinned location for one of our various preferred launch sites!
What if I’ve never used a kayak or paddle board before?
Paddle sports are our specialty! We provide an informational briefing at the time of delivery that includes safety precautions, appropriate areas to paddle, and even techniques to ensure you have a great time on the water.
Can my kids enjoy the kayak/paddle board with me?
Of course! All we require is that anyone who will be using the equipment must sign a waiver. All minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver for them.
What do I do with my phone?
We provide a dry bag that attaches to the board. Your phone/keys will be safe and dry for the duration of your adventure!
How do I confirm my reservation?
ALL reservations must be booked via call/text/email with the owner ahead of time. We do accept same day reservations if availability permits, so don’t hesitate to call! Finally, after the times are confirmed, payment can be made through the link at the bottom of the page.
